A damaged ring gear is removed by drilling or grinding through the ring.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eReassemble deckplate and baseplate with liquid gasket; an anaerobic sealant is recommended (it will not form lumps that get into the gears).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eV1 \/ Anchormate: remove the top cap and slide off the drum; separate baseplate and deckplate by removing the 3 csk screws.
