A 2:1 purchase – dead end fixed in the mast, halyard running through a block on the halyard swivel – halves the load on the halyard routing. Code Zero sails usually hoist lower than gennakers and spinnakers. The position of the 2:1 arrangement on a Seldén mast must be specified by Seldén, who can give the correct CZH (Code Zero Height) from the mast ID
