The bolts are brass: excessive torque damages the threads.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFit the thruster cable(s) the same way and tighten to the recommended torque.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eManual override: pulled out = remote controlled ON\/OFF (default); pushed in = OFF. Leave it OFF when leaving the boat for long periods or when installing or servicing the thruster system.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"om-note\"\u003eDo NOT use washers between lugs: it can cause overheating and a thermal event. Spring washers go in the outer position before tightening the nut.
