Attach to jackstays or fixed eyes able to withstand forces of more than 1 tonne.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNever attach to lifelines, standing or running rigging, or for going aloft.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHarness and safety line are intended to prevent falling overboard. Check compatibility with the rest of your equipment.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAvoid rubbing against abrasive surfaces or sharp edges.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cb\u003eMajor falls:\u003c\/b\u003e if your full bodyweight has been dropped a distance and stopped, stop using the harness – internal damage may have reduced its strength even with no visible change. Dry in a cool, ventilated, dark room.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eGrease spots can be removed with trichlorethylene.
