DESCRIPTION

If you are installing the Stress Free into the anchor well, Quick recommends a rope and chain guide is placed just in front of the hatch opening. The hawse pipe is a highly polished stainless steel tube that has a flared entry and a 30 degree bend that will suit most boats. The hawse pipe is used to center the line from the bow of the boat to the center of the drum when the hatch opening is off center, when there is no access point to the drum, or when there is no hatch.
