* Including short lower extrusion. ** The value delivered as standard is printed in bold in the catalogue; change at no extra cost on request. All models: elliptical double groove foil, removable drum and luff line guide; long and intermediate plates, turnbuckle cover and closed carbon drum are options.
- Add or remove 2 m profiles to suit your forestay length (each kit includes between 5 and 10 profiles; adjustment on request).
- Forestay with a turnbuckle: you need the turnbuckle cover option, unless the turnbuckle sits under the drum with long link plates.
- To raise the drum (anchor passage, chainplate), replace the standard short plates with longer ones (M, XL).
- Check that the standard lower pin fits your deck plate or chainplate; ask for another diameter if needed.
- Replacing the furler but keeping the sail: check the groove is compatible (5 mm in most models).

KSW and KPW are 4-speed winches (2 standard speeds + 2 extra fast speeds); the KCW Compact is a two-speed self-tailing winch, 142 mm high with a 58 mm rope entry height, that the catalogue says can replace any winch up to and including size 40. Power ratios and tailing lengths for each speed are on catalogue pages 70–72.
