Where two values are given: first with the shortest headboard car and batten cars, second with the longest. Series 42: custom solutions are available for larger mainsail areas.

Each selector is an order form: hull make, model, builder, LOA and sail area; mast details (spar manufacturer, mast type, profile no.); mainsail luff (P), foot (E) and number of full-length battens.
Check the hull and spar details are correct for your boat: the mast make may vary with the year the boat was built.
Ronstan recommends discussing batten receptacle type and quantity with your sailmaker.
A typical system has 6 intermediate cars and 5 batten cars; a reef car replaces an intermediate car at each reef point. Select either standard or quick release batten cars.
Series 30 and 42: additional headboard track sections are sometimes required to take headboard loads when reefed; consult your sailmaker.
