Mounting Instruction

  1. Remove screw (1); positions 2–9 can now be removed, leaving the winch base (10).
  2. Mark the bolt holes using the base as a template, then remove it so no drilling dust gets into the winch.
  3. Drill the bolt holes ø6.5mm and clean the area.
  4. Apply a light coat of bedding compound so each hole is bedded.
  5. Fasten the base with 6 pcs M6 countersunk head screws, using large washers or a backing plate.
  6. Assemble in reverse order and check the winch works correctly.

Service Instruction

Maintenance interval 1-2 years, depending on operating conditions. Dismantle as in mounting steps 1–2.

  1. Clean all moving parts with white spirits / mineral spirits.
  2. Check pawls and springs for wear and replace if necessary. The upper pawl in the winch top is not replaceable.
  3. Reassemble, lightly greasing all moving parts, and check the winch works correctly.

Service Kit No. 15 (part no. 710015) contains the service parts for this winch.
