Installation

1. Position: just above or below the spreader tips. Below the spreaders is easier, as you can pre-assemble the parts on deck and are less likely to lose parts from a bosun's chair.
2. Have a 3 inch piece of masking tape at hand (stick it to the shroud).
3. Place the selected inserts in the two hub halves and fit them around the shroud; hold them loosely with the tape. Match the two clearance screw holes at one end of a hub half with the smaller holes at the other end of the other half. The mating faces of the inserts must be parallel with the faces of the hub halves.
4. Install the four screws supplied, tightening only so the hub can still slide up the shroud. Remove the tape.
5. Install the rollers: one half of each roller has clearance holes for the two screws; mate it with the half without clearance holes and run the screws tight.
6. Slide the jib roller to the desired position and finish tightening the four hub screws until the hub interfaces are fully closed.
