How the KHL Lock Is Fitted

  • Two parts: the fixed part and the lock part, each with a lashing ending (KHL2, KHL3) or lashing and T-bone (KHL5 to KHL10).
  • KHL5, KHL8.0 and KHL10: the halyard end is spliced and attached through the T-bone; check the maximum spliced halyard diameter.
  • KHL2 and KHL3: 6mm max halyard.

Using the Dimension Drawings

  • One plan per size with overall length, lashing-eye diameters and halyard passage; use them to check clearance at the masthead.
