Circuit Breakers and Contactors

Contactor-to-windlass matches are transcribed from the compatibility chart, as printed.

Switches and Remotes

• CHSX foot switch: 12 or 24V DC windlasses; IP67/5 rated; twin sealed switch compartment; composite body with polished stainless or composite lid. Outer Ø75.0, drill size 46.0.
• Deck foot switch: 12 or 24V; single direction; hinged cover; normally open contact, 5A (12 & 24V). Drawing dimensions 17mm, 44mm and ø78mm; mounting detail 3 holes Ø3,6mm C/SK to Ø7mm on 62 PCD, with ø9.5mm and 7.8mm shown. Must be used with a contactor or control box.
• Custom deck switch: any winch or windlass; sealed switch with rubber button cover, stainless body, replaceable bellows. Must be used with a contactor or control box.
• Wireless remotes: up/down for any Lewmar windlass (5-button adds port/starboard thruster control). The receiver supports up to eight fobs; fobs float, have a replaceable battery and are waterproof to IP67 (1 metre deep). Use the 10m antenna kit where reception is poor or the distance is long.
• Wired windlass remote (66940002): 2-button, IP67 handset, plug & socket, 1.5m of cable pre-fitted with plug, wall plate, flange-mount socket and sealing cap; 12V and 24V.

AutoAnchor Chain Counters

• AA150: LCD rode counter with docking alarm, standard 60mm (2.36") instrument console; up to 2 units or combine with AA560, AA710 or AA300 for multiple stations. Kit: console, 1 magnet (10mm x 8mm), grey sensor with 2m cable and plug, motor load sensor terminators (rope/chain installs).
• AA560 / AA570: helm counter and control with "one touch" deploy/retrieve of a preset length, docking alarm and preset stop. AA570 is the wireless version and adds the AA702A base station.
• AA730: waterproof wired handheld for windlass and bow/stern thrusters with chain counter, 4 metres spiral cable, cradle; kit includes base station, deck socket with 2m lead, sensor and 2 magnets.
• AA710: wireless handheld windlass/thruster control with counter, preset deploy length, auto stop, docking alarm, safety lock.
• AA601: connects to the onboard computer via RS485 serial port or USB.
• SmartBox AA802 / SmartSensor AA001 / SmartConsole AA870 / Smart Remote AA810: NMEA2000 and Bluetooth counter system with 3-axis sensor (auto direction, rope/chain auto detection, no load wires). No part numbers are given for these.
• Sensor extension cables are M-M; sensors and consoles have female connectors. Chain counters use 3-wire shielded cables to meet EN 60945 EMC requirements.
