Double Joystick 318204 / 318205: waterproof rating IP67.

Installation

  1. Stick the drilling template in the desired position and drill the two Ø52 mm (2 in.) holes with a hole saw.
  2. Place the panel, mark the 6 fixing holes, remove it and drill the six Ø1 mm holes.
  3. Make sure the rubber seal is on the base column; wire / plug the unit to the control circuit.
  4. Double Joystick: joysticks at the top, red buttons at the bottom. VIP & Retract: joystick at the top, red button at the bottom. Fix with the six screws supplied.
  5. Only when wiring and position are final, clip on the face panel / cover, with the transparent waterproof button covers in place.
  6. Leave the joystick rubber boots inserted in the clip-on cover and make sure they sit properly without being stretched; push down well.

To remove the clip-on cover, slide a flat-headed screwdriver with a 6–7 mm wide tip between the cover and the dashboard at positions (a), (b) and then (c), push the tip in at least 3 to 4 mm and twist slightly.

The instructions say Ø52 mm (2 in.) holes; the separate double-panel drilling template (December 2013) is dimensioned Ø53 (as printed), 6 × Ø1, hole centres 51.3 mm, fixing holes 44 × 47.7 mm. Print the template at scale 1 without resizing and check it before drilling.
