Joystick Simple 318202 / 318203: waterproof rating IP67.
Installation
- Stick the drilling template in the desired position and drill a Ø52 mm (2 in.) hole with a hole saw.
- Place the panel, mark the 4 fixing holes, remove it and drill the four Ø1 mm holes.
- Make sure the rubber seal is on the base column; wire / plug the unit to the control circuit.
- Touch Panel: red button left, green button right. Joystick Simple: joystick at the top, red button at the bottom. Fix with the four screws supplied.
- Only when wiring and position are final, clip on the face panel / cover. Joystick Simple: transparent waterproof button cover in place, joystick rubber boot inserted in the cover and not stretched; push down well.
To remove the clip-on cover, slide a flat-headed screwdriver with a 6–7 mm wide tip between the cover and the dashboard at position (a) and then (b), push the tip in at least 3 to 4 mm and twist slightly.
The instructions say Ø52 mm (2 in.); the separate single-panel drilling template (December 2013) is dimensioned Ø53 (as printed), 4 × Ø1 on a 44 × 44 mm square. Print it at scale 1 without resizing and check it before drilling.
