Using the Panel

  1. Switch on the main switch.
  2. Press the on/off switch twice: after the first press the LED flashes green and the buzzer sounds continuously; press again within 6 seconds. The LED stays green and the buzzer confirms the panel is ready.
  3. Operate the windlass motor with the direction switch.
  4. After use press the on/off switch once; the panel sounds a signal. It also switches off automatically 30 minutes after the last use of a direction switch.
  5. Switch off the main switch when leaving the ship.

If two control panels are installed, never operate the windlass from both panels at the same time.

Protection

  • Thermal protection of the control current: on overload the panel sounds a warning once and the LED lights red and green alternately for about 7 seconds.
  • Once the overload is solved the system works normally again.
