Tightening torque (indicative, judge by the materials being fixed): M6 11 Nm, M8 28 Nm. For the tunnel dimensions and the stern tunnel itself, see its own manual. In the kit: cowls, screws, washers and nuts; tools: Allen key, ratchet wrench, drill, pencil.

Fitting the Cowls

  1. Place the cowl on the tunnel and mark holes A and B.
  2. Drill A and B on the tunnel and fix the two screws in A and B.
  3. Drill the remaining positions and fasten the other screws.
  4. Tighten screws and nuts in a cross pattern to the torques above, then repeat on the other side. Check the fixings periodically.
  • The cowls are designed only for Quick stern tunnels. Do not use them as a step or support to get on and off the boat.
  • Work in good light with suitable PPE; fitting and later inspections or repairs by qualified personnel only.
