Models
| Model | Power | Power supply |
|---|---|---|
| Maxibar 12V | 18W/m | 10–15Vdc |
| Maxibar 24V | 18W/m | 20–30Vdc |
- For the 12V model use a 12Vdc driver.
- The LED lamps are built in and cannot be replaced.
Flush Mounting
The wires from the constant-voltage power supply (voltage as in the chart) must be present in the panel.
- Cut a slot 30 mm wide and 31,5 mm deep in the panel.
- Fit the support into the slot, drill and fix it with self-tapping screws (not supplied).
- Connect the power cables from the panel to the light bar cables: positive to red, negative to black. Test the light.
- Lay the cables in the support raceway.
- Press the bar into the support.
- The light bar must end up flush with the surface.
Wiring & Power Supply
- Do not connect directly to the mains. A constant-voltage power supply is needed; its wattage must be equal to or higher than the total of the bars connected.
- Several bars are connected in parallel. Example from Quick: three 1 m bars at 18W/m, 24V, on one Quick PSCV 60W 24V constant-voltage power supply.
- Non-Quick power supplies may have a higher or lower inrush-current protection threshold, so the load may need different sizing because of the inrush current of the LED board at switch-on.
Maintenance
- Clean with a soft damp cloth. Do not use chlorine-based sanitisers or degreasers; rinse with plenty of fresh water afterwards.
- The LED lamps are built in and cannot be replaced.
