Fitting
- Seat the anchor on the bow roller like any other anchor; check it sits correctly and the fluke does not touch the hull.
- Fit the Olympic swivel following the swivel manual. The shank also has an eye bolt for a buoy (trip) rope.
Use & Care
- Drop and weigh the anchor with the windlass; slow the retrieval at the end so the anchor comes home in the right position.
- Do not weigh it fast, and do not weigh it if it is not in the correct position, to avoid damaging the boat.
- Do not use galvanised chain (rust residue).
- Rinse off salt deposits with fresh water periodically.
