All technical-sheet versions: IP66, floor installation, screw fixing, AISI 316 polished bezel, plastic body, one colour, dimmable (PWM 100–500 Hz; recommended dimmer FASP094CA2A3D00 HDIM300 D00). The sheets give 10–30 Vdc and different weights from the installation manuals (9–32 Vdc, 730 gr).

Standard Recessed Installation

  1. Drill a Ø 67 mm (2 41/64") hole where the lamp is to go (recess 217,5 mm).
  2. If moisture could form, connect a rubber tube to drain the condensation.
  3. Connect: positive is the brown wire (common positive), negative is the blue wire. Always respect the polarity on the label. Test the light.
  4. To raise the lamp, press and turn the lighting body anticlockwise and draw it out slowly through the extension; to stow it, press it down to the base of the frame and turn clockwise to lock.
  5. Insert the light body in the hole and fix it with self-tapping screws (not included) in the preset holes.
  6. Press the frame back on so it rests completely on the base.

With the OSP Flange Kit (FV157FLX0000A00)

  1. Drill a Ø 74 mm hole.
  2. Apply sealant to the edge of the hole or the outer surface of the flange, insert the flange and secure it with three Ø 2.9 mm Phillips flat-head countersunk self-tapping screws (not supplied).
  3. Fit the 3.53x60.33 O-ring in the bottom slot of the Secret body and the 2.5x60 O-ring in the upper slot; grease both O-rings.
  4. If moisture could form, connect a rubber hose to drain the condensate.
  5. Connect brown to positive and blue to negative.
  6. Insert the light body in the flange, secure it with the screws supplied and press-fit the frame. Test the light.

Kit contents: polished stainless steel flange, O-ring 3.53x60.33 mm, O-ring 2.5x60 mm, M4x6 flat countersunk head screws.

Wiring & Power Supply

  • Do not connect directly to the mains. Use a constant-voltage power supply whose wattage is equal to or higher than the total of the lamps connected.
  • Several lamps are connected in parallel. Quick examples: three 3W lamps on a Quick PSCV 10W 24V; three 6W lamps on a Quick PSCV 30W 24V.
  • Non-Quick power supplies may have a higher or lower inrush-current protection threshold, so the load may need different sizing because of the inrush current of the LED board at switch-on.
  • The LED lamps are built in and cannot be replaced.

Maintenance

  • Check the glass regularly for encrustation that could stop the lamp opening. If it jams, remove the frame and lubricate the glass with a silicone-based product.
  • Clean with a clean soft microfibre cloth. Never use abrasive sponges or steel wool; avoid high-pressure cleaners, especially hot and with surfactants.
