Topping Up & Changing Fluid
- Selden changed from vegetable to mineral base fluid in 2005.
- For service or top-up, the identical fluid is preferable.
- Fluid from other makers is acceptable if it has the same base (vegetable or mineral) and a similar specification.
- To change from vegetable to mineral base, the system must be completely drained.
- In normal use change the oil together with the filter at least every four years.
