The relay switches the incoming power to the SEL-Bus PSU. Size it for voltage and load: 100A per PSU in a 12V installation, 50A per PSU at 24V.
| Relay | Voltage (V) | Current (A) | Power consumption (W) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 532-498 | 12 | 100 | 6 |
| 532-499 | 24 | 100 | 6 |
| 532-599 | 12/24 | 250 | 3 (45 on start up) |
With Protective Guard (recommended)
- Choose fasteners with a head smaller than Ø 9.5x4mm and thread smaller than Ø5mm (e.g. MLC6S M5, MRT M5).
- Drill the mounting holes.
- Attach the button to the guard.
- Connect the cables.
- Apply sealant in the grooves under the guard.
- Fasten button and guard.
Without Guard
- Max. mounting surface thickness 4mm; if thicker, make a 40mm countersink on the back.
- Drill the mounting hole.
- Fit the button with its nut.
- Connect the cables. On an uneven surface extra sealant may be needed.
Mount the button within easy reach whenever SEL-Bus devices are in use.
