Cut Outs
- Turn the mast side up.
- Drill a Ø 4,9 mm hole H=200 mm above the spreader height, side position S from the table.
- Enlarge to Ø 8,0mm and grind the hole inside and out.
- Repeat for each spreader, then make the same holes on the opposite side.
Running and Connecting the Cables
- Fit the cable conduit into the mast (see PHB 1025); mark the conduit through the Ø 8,0 mm exits.
- Pull the conduit out, cut ~ Ø 20 mm holes with a hole saw, grind, and push it back.
- Push a plastic rod up to the uppermost exit, attach the cable and pull it down to the extrusion end. For up- and down-light, use a cable with 3 wires to the first spreaders.
- Strap the cables, fit the rubber adapter and drill Ø 4,0 mm for its screws; connect two or three wires to the connector.
- Fasten the female terminals to the mast; fit the spreader, cut the light cable to length and connect the male terminal.
- Check colours match in male and female terminals. Mark the down-light wire with tape. Always use the blue wire as minus (-).
