Replacement Knob Kits

Kit includes locking knobs, spring, rivets and drill bit. Tools: power drill, ø2.5mm plunger, hammer and pop rivet gun.

Steps

  1. Drill out the pop rivets and remove both end fittings.
  2. Push the inner tube into the outer tube until its inner end exits the outer tube – take care not to lose the knobs and spring.
  3. Replace the spring and locking knobs; push the inner tube back.
  4. Refit the end fittings with the correct rivets (table), punch out the rivet balls and empty them from the pole through the plunger holes.
