Through Deck Lead

Used with the supplied nut or without it, depending on deck thickness. Always glue the lead in; the nut helps hold it while the glue cures.

1. Drill a hole in the deck per the table.
2. Place the lead through the deck.
3. Fit the nut if the lead protrudes through the deck.

Through Deck Lead, Two-Sided

Three-part design: two deck eyes screw into a distance tube that is cut to the deck thickness (grooves make a straight cut with a metal saw easy).

1. Drill a hole in the deck per the table.
2. Fit the upper eye to the tube.
3. Place the lead in the deck.
4. Mark the deck thickness on the tube.
5. Cut the tube at the mark with a metal saw.
6. Place lead and tube in the deck; the tube must not protrude on the outside.
7. Fit the second lead into the tube.
