Push in at the lower end and lift the locking sphere with a narrow screwdriver.
Push the lower end of the black plastic gate into the sail track and slide it down.
When the upper fork ends clear the stainless feeder, lift the fork end clear and pull the gate out.

Drill a ø3.0mm hole on the centreline, 14mm below the base of the cut-out (124mm below its top).
Feed spare cloth into the track below the hole so nothing drops down the track.
Hold the self-tapping screw on the screwdriver with grease, grease the thread and cut the thread; remove the screw.
Insert the gate and push it as far up as possible so the screw head can pass.
Locate the screw in the ø3mm hole and screw it home.
Remove the rag packing through the sail slot.
