Fasteners are not supplied.

Fitting

  • Always drill from the template supplied with the cleat: it is marked on the underside of the white plinth.
  • PXR0206/VP: make sure fastener length does not foul halyards inside the mast; if you use self-tapping screws, file off the sharp ends.
  • PXR0206/VP sheave: push the stainless pin through the pivot body and refit it in the other hole to take lines from above or below. The sheave can be swapped for a Harken 415 sheave as a ball-bearing option.
  • /SW models: remove the rear fastener and lift the cleat off the swivel base to reach the base fastener holes.
  • With 10 mm (3/8") line, keep the cut end at full diameter so it feeds into the cleat easily.

Operation & Care

  • Lift the line up or push it down to move body and cam between lock and release.
  • The yellow tab on top sets the release spring:
  • 1 – harder, for halyards and lines adjusted occasionally;
  • 2 – in between;
  • 3 – lighter, for continuously trimmed sheets, traveller controls, vangs and similar.
  • Wash with fresh water to clear salt build-up and rope debris.

Drill Templates

The drill guide (second download) has one 1:1 page per model, all dimensions in mm. Print at actual size – never "fit to page" – and check a printed dimension with a rule before drilling.
