Spinlock WL Line Lead — Instructions

Installation – WL/1 and WL/2

1. Positioning: place the WL block on the stanchion at the desired height.
2. Use the WL/2 on the first and last stanchions and the WL/1 on the intermediate ones.
3. Securing: both are supplied with fasteners for a straightforward bolt-on attachment to 25mm (1") diameter stanchions.
4. Adjusting (WL/2): the tracker-ball angle adjuster lets you align the sheave with the entry and exit angles of the line.
5. Final check: the block must be tight so it cannot slip, and the line must run freely without restriction.

Maintenance

• Rinse with fresh water to remove rope and salt build-up. Do not use cleaning products or lubricants – they can damage the product.
• Inspect carefully for wear and damage.

Safety

• Check the product is correctly specified for your application, load and line size, and that it is correctly installed before its first use under load.
• Braided fibre rope only – never three-strand or wire rope. Never use the product if it is damaged or worn, or with damaged rope.
• Never use cleaning or lubricating solvents, polysulphide or polyurethane based sealants: they degrade the product. Do not modify any part.
