Older codes SOL1512S, SOL324S, SOL1512D and SOL324D appear alongside the AFST relays on the same diagrams. Windlass models on the diagrams: Hercules, Alexander III, Ajax, Tiger, Condor, Picus, Puma II, Achilles II, Titan. All relays IP66.

Wiring Diagram Legend

  • 1 battery, 2 fuse, 3 switch (hauling in), 4 switch (letting go), 5 solenoid switch (single relay), 6 windlass motor (series motor, 2 field coils), 7 solenoid switch AFST624S.
  • 8 solenoid switch (dual relay), 9 windlass motor (series motor, 1 field coil), 10 windlass motor (permanent magnet motor), 11 switch (hauling in and letting go), 12 solenoid switch STM9050 / STM3871.

The two motor relays (5) must never be switched on at the same time. This can happen when two separate switches (3, 4) are used for hauling in and letting go: in that case install 2 extra relays (12) as shown on the drawing.
