Coupling Vetus and Yamaha

  1. Connect the Yamaha section of the installation up to and including the "Thruster driver".
  2. Insert a hub (2) in the Vetus CAN-bus system.
  3. Connect the Vetus hub (2) to the Yamaha Thruster driver with the supplied cable CANVM12A (7).
  • Consult the relevant Vetus and Yamaha manuals for the complete system; never work on the system while it is energised.
  • Then check that the boat moves in the direction the joystick(s) are moved, carefully and in a safe location; if it is opposite, correct it as described in the relevant Vetus manual.
