WARNING: non structural product, does not maintain the mast – only for furling sails.

  • Gennaker or code 0: the clamps must be fitted with the Marlow Prodrive2 anti-torque cable.
  • Asymmetric spinnaker: most anti-torque cables on the market can be fitted with the clamps.
  • Material shown in the notice: clamp, 4 long screws, 10 short screws (14 short screws for 7324), two heat-shrink sleeves, plus grease.

Fitting the Clamp

Step 1: Preparation

  1. Thread the two heat-shrink sleeves onto the anti-torque cable: the short one first, then the bigger one.
  2. Remove the 4 long screws from the clamp.
  3. Put the anti-torque cable around the thimble. Measure and mark the tail length: Ø9: 21-23cm, Ø11: 21-23cm, Ø13: 23-25cm, Ø15: 28-31 cm (these values may change according to the thimble).
  4. Place the clamp between the 2 lines, approx. 10 mm max. from the thimble as shown in the notice.

Step 2: Fitting without a vice

  1. Grease the 4 long screws and fit them.
  2. Tighten from the opposite side, progressively and crosswise, so the clamp closes evenly on both lines.
  3. Complete installation: replace the long screws with the greased short screws (10 short screws, 14 for 7324).

Step 2bis: Installation with a vice

  • Close the clamp in a vice between aluminium jaws, then fit the greased short screws (10, or 14 for 7324) and tighten from the opposite side.

Final tightening and finishing

  • Tighten all screws to finish; the notice photos show the correct result with both lines fully seated.
  • Slide the heat-shrink sleeve over the clamp area and shrink it with a heat gun.
