Wichard Rigging Knives — Instructions

Opening and Closing

  • To close: press the spring (1), then carefully fold the blade back into the handle (2).
  • To open: carefully unfold the blade from the handle until it clicks into place – the blade is then locked open.
  • Always check the lock before use.

Use

  • For cutting food, strings, ropes, thin branches or similar materials.
  • Always hold the blade facing outward, away from your body and fingers.
  • Do not use as a lever, screwdriver or striking tool.
  • Warning: cutting product.

Maintenance & Storage

  • Clean and dry the blade after each use. Do not wash in the dishwasher.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Safety & Terms of Use

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store the knife closed and clean in a secure case or bag.
  • Intended for non-aggressive utility use. Comply with local regulations on carrying knives outdoors.
