Lewmar Winch Handles — Selection Guide

How to Choose a Winch Handle

  • Length: 200 mm (8") or 250 mm (10").
  • Lock-in or not: a lock-in handle stays in the winch socket until released; the OneTouch releases with one hand by squeezing the lever that runs the full length of the arm.
  • Grip: single grip, double grip, or Power Grip (makes initial fast cranking easy, with room for a second hand once the load comes on).
  • Material: alloy (lightweight, the 250 mm versions forged), chrome (250 mm only) or Titan composite (very light and floats if dropped overboard).

OneTouch Winch Handle

  • 8" and 10" alloy handle; lightweight forged construction, corrosion resistant.
  • Release lever along the whole handle: squeeze and lift to remove one-handed.
  • Available in Standard Grip and Power Grip.
