  • With Sta-Lok: fits an existing standard wire headstay and turnbuckle. Kit: furler, base toggle/link, Sta-Lok fitting, halyard restrainer and wire bearing liners.
  • Without Sta-Lok: for rod or pre-swaged wire headstays, usually assembled by a rigger. Kit: furler, base toggle/link, halyard restrainer and wire bearing liners.
  • All extrusions are round and twin-groove and take a #6 (3/16", 5 mm) luff tape.

  • Long toggle/link: standard systems come with the standard toggle. For a long toggle, order the generic system with no toggle (1100, 2100 or 3100), then the long toggle link.
  • Extra extrusions can be ordered for custom lengths. Custom Sta-Lok and base toggle/link combinations are available.

Rod Information

All Schaefer furlers adapt to rod headstays. Extrusions can be fitted after the rod is shortened and re-headed.

Long Toggles and Extension Kits

Long integral toggle links replace the standard integral toggle link to raise the drum off the deck. Custom long toggles are available for System 4100.

Halyard Restrainers

The restrainer deflects the halyard away from the headstay so it cannot wrap. They take a maximum 15° entry and 45° exit angle.
