Step 1: Mainsheet Load

Use the Mainsheet Loads chart to find the traveler load (lbs) for your boat length, with separate curves for mid-boom and end-boom sheeting. Read your value from the chart in the PDF.

  • Average boats to 30' (9.1 m) should use the 1-1/8" track.
  • Most boats from 30' (9.1 m) to 50' (15.2 m) use the 1-1/2" systems.

  • Schaefer can bend traveler track horizontally, vertically or in a compound bend.
