The Smallest Furlex Furlers

  • All structural parts stainless steel; drum and cover in glass fibre reinforced polyamide composite.
  • Double stainless ball bearings in the drum spread the radial load and reduce friction.
  • The line exit fairlead of the cover can be turned to several positions for the right furling-line angle.
  • Optional top swivel guide separates the jib from the forestay so the forestay is not twisted with the luff.
  • The 30S and 40S top swivel is tapered for narrow forestay angles; all top swivels have stainless ball bearings to stop the halyard twisting.
  • The luff wire is fitted to the drum. There is no luff extrusion, so these models are not suitable for reefing.
