Continuous Line Furling Leads
Continuous line furlers are worked with an endless furling line spliced into a loop, so ordinary blocks cannot be used to lead it back to the cockpit. Finding the right "end" and keeping friction low is what lets you douse the sail fast. The layout runs furler → double fairlead(s) on the stanchions → twin-cam block aft.

The twin-cam block is fitted aft and shows you the right "end" of the line. Before hoisting the furled sail, tension the line and lock it in the cleats of the twin-cam block: the sail cannot unfurl prematurely.
