Most Shurflo pump failures are wet end failures, not motor failures. A pumphead or upper assembly kit restores full output for a fraction of the cost of a new pump, and fits without removing the plumbing in most installations.

Identifying the Right Kit

  • Check the series number: Kits are series specific, for example 4148, 4158, 4248/4258 or 4558.
  • Pumphead kit: Complete wet end including valves and diaphragm.
  • Upper assembly: Valve housing only, where the diaphragm is sound.
  • Drive assembly: Wobble plate and bearing for worn drives.
  • Impeller kit: For 3200 series macerators, gasket included.
