Watt & Sea Cruising Pack

The Cruising Pack is the complete starting point for renewable power on a cruising boat. Each pack brings together the hydrogenerator (POD), an aluminum leg in your chosen length, the 12/24 V converter, a standard 240 mm propeller, the lifting bracket with cam-cleat, and the fixation kit — ready to install and charge. It is the simplest path to keeping batteries full on passage without leaning on the engine.

Two outputs cover most of the fleet. The Cruising 300 delivers a nominal 300 W (about 24 A at 12 V) and suits boats that typically sail at 4–6 knots, while the Cruising 600 produces up to 600 W and is well matched to yachts over about 35 feet and faster passage speeds. Both use the same brushless alternator and corrosion-resistant composite construction, and both come in 610 mm (24″) or 970 mm (38″) leg lengths to suit your transom and waterline.

What you can expect on passage

The converter auto-detects 12 V or 24 V banks and uses MPPT with step-up technology to charge lead-acid, AGM, and lithium batteries. Generation begins at low speed and grows quickly as the boat accelerates, so a steady offshore pace keeps the bank topped up day and night. Lifting and lowering the unit is as easy as handling a dinghy rudder, and the cam-cleat locks it firmly in either position with one hand.
