DESCRIPTION

The ATN Mast Ascender is the only rope ascender engineered specifically for marine use. Designed by ATN and manufactured by CMI, it lets you climb your mast under your own power, and doubles as a safety backup when used alongside the ATN Mastclimber.

Its open design drops straight onto a tensioned halyard, synthetic shroud or stay, so there is no need to thread a line end through the body. Built entirely from stainless steel, it resists corrosion in the marine environment and grips line from 3/8" to 5/8" in diameter. Note that the shackle ear must be tightened from the left side for the ascender to function correctly.
