DESCRIPTION

The em-trak B951 is a certified Class B AIS transceiver transmitting at 5 W (+37 dBm) using SOTDMA, which gives it greater range and transmission priority than 2 W Class B units.

The GNSS receiver and its antenna are built into the device and support GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo. Data output is over two bi-directional NMEA 0183 ports and NMEA 2000 (Ed 3.101, LEN = 1), and a voyage recorder is built in. The FLEXI-FIT bracket system is used for mounting.

Supply 12 or 24 V DC over a 9.6 to 31.2 V DC range. Average consumption at 12 V is 135 mA / 1.6 W, with a 2.5 A peak. Size 150 x 115 x 45 mm (H x W x D), weight 375 g. Ingress protection IPX6 and IPX7. Operating temperature -25 C to +55 C, storage -25 C to +70 C.
