As printed, the catalogue table labels the round sections "RX" and the elliptical sections "SX"; the model tables show the LS on rounded SX sections and the RX on elliptical R sections.

  • LS cruising programme: rounded sections, classic drum, aluminium feeder, fixed tack fitting. Option: in-deck version (IDLS).
  • RX racing/cruising programme: aerodynamic sections, rotating tack fitting with Torlon® balls and removable drum plates: unscrew the furling line guide, remove the half plates and fit the two half protection rings to turn the furler into a twin-groove head foil.
  • Both: bearing box with steel bearings running in grease taking axial (halyard) and lateral (outhaul) loads, waterproof high-load swivel, 30 micron anodizing, telescopic bottom section (no cutting), 360° adjustable furling line, internal turnbuckle fitting.

  • All models: the bottom fixing pin (marine-grade stainless steel) is delivered with a nylock nut.
  • No need to cut the forestay when installing. When assembling and at winter service, grease the screws of the bottom telescopic section and the top of the drum link plates to ease dismantling and turnbuckle access.
  • LS-RX need no specific maintenance beyond regular rinsing of drum and swivel with fresh water.

  • Anodized extruded aluminium, 6000 series, standard length 2 m (6'8"); twin groove; CNC-machined holes for perfect alignment.
  • Long polyamide bearings centre the forestay inside the foil; screws coated with Tuff Lock® (locking and insulating) with Torx® heads; high-torque connectors.
  • Fitted on classic drum (LS & RX), webbing drum (FD) and motorized drum furlers.
