What is the Facnor RX furling system?

The Facnor RX is a headsail furling and reefing system built around an extruded aluminum foil that fits over the forestay. Turning the drum rotates the foil and rolls the genoa or jib away, letting you reduce sail area or stow the headsail from the cockpit. Like all foil furlers it is assembled from a drum unit, jointed foil extrusions, a top swivel, feeders, links, connectors and fasteners — any of which may eventually need replacement.
