How does Andersen's own service guidance differ?

Andersen is the one brand of the three that breaks from the "oil only" rule for pawls — and it's worth knowing before you reach for the wrong tube. Andersen's official product manual calls for gear teeth, the drive shaft, roller bearings, shafts, springs, and bushings to be lightly greased on reassembly, and specifies that the pawls themselves get only a very thin film of ANDERSEN Winch Grease, not oil, so they can still move freely.
