The Harken 5 mm Stamped Shackle (part 072) is a lightweight, stainless-steel shackle commonly used on Harken Small Boat blocks and other low-load applications. It’s stamped with the pin diameter for easy ID and delivers a solid strength-to-weight profile: 567 kg (1,250 lb) SWL and 1,134 kg (2,500 lb) breaking load. For higher loads, Harken recommends moving up to forged/high-resistance shackles.
